Introduction to Shamanism

The ancient shamanic traditions that originated many cycles of life ago found their beginnings in what the Hopi call the First World. In October 2007, when cosmic space collapsed, we entered into the fifth world. The shamanism practiced by indigenous peoples of all races on Earth today, pales by comparison to what once was. Having forfeited its inclusiveness that benefits the interconnectedness of all life in favor of exclusiveness which benefits only a few, it also disempowered itself.

Since a cosmic ascension into higher realms began in February 2005, much is being restored (see www.earthwisdomchronicles.com). The ancient and powerful shamanism is yet again being restored in its full power and glory. This website reveals the very first layer of its magical manifestation capabilities.

The information is interwoven with insights of the Indigenous traditions that Almine gained during her five-year sojourn among the Northern tribes of America and Canada. Until a profound spiritual calling was given to change her shamanic path in February 2005, the way of the red road had been her way of life.

The reason for sharing the traditions of the Indigenous ways in conjunction with the teachings of the ancient Shamanic traditions is that they go hand in hand in the following ways:

1. Indigenous shamanism in its purity requires that we live reverently and meaningfully in our interaction with the Earth and her creatures. This is also the basis of ancient shamanism.

2. No race or tradition currently has all the truth. At no time can a truth seeker gain by uniformity. He who flies with the eagle must leave the flocks of birds behind. Some portions of Native traditions have become entirely obsolete. It is hoped that ancient shamanism can restore that which has been lost or distorted.

"Although I have participated in the most sacred ceremonies of indigenous tribes like the shaking tent, sweat lodge and sundances, and have gone on a four-day vision quest of total fasting, I have not shared that information here out of deference to their desire to shroud their customs from the eyes of the outsiders.

The ancient and original shamanism from which indigenous customs sprang however is the birthright of man and available to all. What is revealed here is just the beginning…"
