Different Ways of Receiving Guidance

 

Each of the sub-personalities within the individual gains guidance from Spirit in different ways:

 

1.  The nurturer interprets body language.  The body may have an uncomfortable tightening of the stomach muscles or a rush of energy creating goosebumps, or abnormal sweating, various signals that affirm or warn about circumstances.

 

2.  The inner child is guided by feeling.  When we do something that feels great, we have just lived our highest truth.  These feelings flow through the heart of a healthy and whole inner child.

 

3.  The inner warrior is guided by effortless knowing to develop strategy.  It also has the ability to see the larger picture with eagle vision, not just the occurrences of the moment and provides perspective.

 

4.  The inner elder uses insight to see behind the appearances.  It is the wisdom that comes from within the recesses of our soul and needs no thinking to be produced.  The elder within us also interprets the wisdom of dreams.

 

Note:  The elders interpret information within a tribal village in the very same way.  During the women’s moon time, or menstrual cycle, women gather together in the moon lodge where special songs are sung to ease discomfort and promote healthful bleeding.  At this time they are very open to intuition, which is one of the reasons why women are more sensitive and irritable during their period.  They are receiving information from many different levels and our modern society does not permit them the quiet time needed to access such information.

 

After their time in the moon lodge, their dreams are given to the elders who interpret them appropriately and apply the wisdom as needed to the whole society.

 

5.  The above nature, the instinctual male guides us into the direction of our life where the current is fast and the water in the river is always fresh and new.  When this sub-personality slumbers, life ends up being in a rut – a place where consciousness diminishes.

 

 

6.  The wild woman’s “below” nature acts out potential for the other personalities to interpret.  She entrains the earth with the dance she brings and all life flourishes.

 

7.  The within nature has a direct connection through a highly specialized cell with the Source of all life.  It “talks to the Infinite” in a wordless empathic/telepathic language.  It delivers these messages in flashes of knowingness, easily missed if we do not take the time to be still.
